STRAIGHTFORWARD AND EASY. I am a type 2 diabetic and I do not take very good care of myself. This makes it easy to be more accountable to myself. There are some things that I eat often, this books makes it easy to go back and copy the nutrition from a previous meal. I appreciate the fact that it is JUST a journal, you should know what your goals are before beginning, but that makes it more flexible.

So far I am finding this tedious to keep up with. Without saving every label of every food item I eat, I often don't know what the nutrition info is for each item unless I go to a fitness app I have on my phone to find the info, which I could just use in the first place instead of this book. This book does exactly as it describes. I am only taking away one star because after using this for a few days, I just personally find the app I use to be much easier in keeping up with my macros. However, if you are someone who does better writing things down & are fairly organized, this is a great option.

Excellent book. I just had gastric bypass, and this book allows space for me to plan my weekly food, record daily intake including all counts for calories, protein, carbs, and fat and even room for snacks. Doesn't go overboard with information to fill in. Just the basics of the food. Just what I was looking for.

I don’t like it , it’s boring there are other ones that had more details and more character. It does serve its purpose

good if you have the time. i cant find time to look up and document the stats but i do document what i consume and exercise

Am ALWAYS starting another diet but I think this handy little book is keeping me on track this time. We all need that for sure. I didn't give it a 5 star because there were a few things I didn't need for my personal dieting but what was there is very helpful!

Love the layout! Now, I’d only I can train myself to actually use this book...
