I have used Mary Engelbreit's weekly planners for twenty+ years. I love the colorful pages, the heartfelt messages and artwork, and the way the planner is set up. I removed a star because the printer changed the paper 3-4 years ago and it's harder to erase. But I still love this planner more than others I have tried. It's just right.
The calendar itself is so cute and I love the way it is organized. However, when I ordered it, I had read the reviews wrong. I thought they had switched from the "glossy" paper to actual paper. It's the other way around. The paper is a slight glossy material, so when I write in ballpoint pen, it smears. I won't even attempt using gel. Some pens don't even write at all. I'm so, so, so disappointed. I thought I had finally found the perfect planner. I was wrong.
I absolutely LOVE this planner! I haven't ever really used a planner before. I think this is the start of something new for me, and I plan on getting a ME planner (and wall calendar and day-to-day calendar) every year. The artwork is just gorgeous. There were a few surprises near the end of the planner that I didn't expect (this may be typical of all planners, but as I said..planners are new to me)...such as Babysitters, Children's Friends (I won't need these, but it's a nice addition for those who do), Names & Numbers, and Notes. I'm excited to start 2019 off with this planner and recommend it (who knows...maybe I'll be more organized in 2019!).
Exactly as pictured. I like how cute & upbeat Mary Engelbreit's artwork is. It's good to have alittle positivity, each day in a calendar. I purchased this for myself, the price was fantastic and I'm happy w product. Also in front of calendar book, are regular calendar pages for notes, and then you have beautiful pages like one I took picture of above.
Mary Englebret has been my go to for my weekly planner for many years now. Her illustrations and captions delight and I just love spending every year with them!
This planner was everything i hoped for! The layout is fantastic, just enough space for each day. The paper is shiny and smooth, binding is very sturdy. My mom used to fill the house with Mary Engelbreit when I was a little girl, and now as a woman I still love all of her designs. Can't wait for January so I can start using this planner!
Love all the cheery pictures. They will be fun to look at each week. Love that there is a month at a glance page as well. That is very important to me to be able to check for up coming appointments etc.
Great weekly calendar--fun captions and photos. Lots of room for putting items in for next year--I love this feature.
