This book seems overrated. It is OK but not on a par with the Dangerous Book for Boys. This book is mostly about social skills and self-esteem for girls. The Dangerous Book for Boys is mostly about things to do. Many of the Dangerous Book's activities appeal to girls as much as to boys. Dangerous is much more interesting and fun than Daring.
I bought this book for my grand-daughters and they love it! The activities reminded me of my childhood playtime ad creativity. The enjoyed reading the book and most of the activities.
My daughter has a copy and we sent this one to our goddaughter in Germany. I was expecting a smaller lighter version that you could actually put in your pocket (which this certainly is not) but it is a good book regardless.
Great for a gift but also great for any girl know how guide! Was shipped faster than expected as well!
